Chelsea Severson, National Account Manager

Chelsea comes to her role at Green Seed Group with 10 years of experience in the natural & conventional retail grocery space. She’s spent most of her career working directly with brand ownership and manufacturing to develop and execute innovative F&B sales goals, strategies, and new product launches.

Starting as a Whole Foods Market account manager, Chelsea sold products into each individual store, working her way up to regional and later national placement for the brand. Her love and passion for health and wellness drives her decision-making and relationship-building with stakeholders through the industry. Chelsea directly managed over $8M in retail business and grew the $30M company from a direct to national distribution model. She’s launched countless new products, managed through four packaging changes, and gained national placement in some of the top retailers in the US. Most recently, Chelsea was the Director of Retail Business Development for a fast-growing beverage company. She holds strong national retail and distribution relationships, as well as understands the importance of communication between sales, production, and sourcing when penetrating the market quickly. She’s managed major accounts such as Whole Foods Market, Amazon, Walmart, Sprouts, Kroger, Vitacost, UNFI, and KeHE.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Chelsea is based in Milwaukee. She enjoys live music, international travel, and being close to any large body of water.
