Carolyn Roberts, Marketing Strategist
Carolyn is an internationally respected brand strategist and researcher who has worked with some of the world’s most recognized brands. She came to Green Seed with a deep understanding of consumer product marketing as well as a passion for food & beverages. She spent the prior 15 years as a senior executive involved in all aspects of international brand management.
Carolyn’s love for international travel, culture, food and business led her to the Thunderbird School of Global Management where she graduated with honors with an MBA in International Management. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from the University of Vermont. After graduate school, Carolyn honed her classical marketing skills in brand management for Procter & Gamble where she helped build the three hundred million dollar Herbal Essences International franchise. She then joined Japanese subsidiary, Kao Brands Company, as a brand manager, new product development, John Frieda where she generated and validated a pipeline of new product initiatives.
Carolyn returned to Vermont when she was recruited by Seventh Generation to launch a line of natural personal care products. Carolyn’s extensive consumer products experience includes market analysis, advertising development, consumer research, consumer and trade promotions, brand architecture, and marketing strategy.
When Carolyn’s not working, she’s taking in the natural beauty of Vermont with her husband and 2 daughters, or cooking, playing in swimming holes, doing triathlons, playing ice hockey and skiing.
